What school is like in Mexico

Today we are going to find out what school is like in Mexico.

Let's get started.

So here are two questions I would like to find out about school in Mexico.

1. When does school start in Mexico?

2. what do they do for school?

1.Mexican middle schools and high schools generally start between 07:00–07:30, with elementary schools starting at 08:00. However, for public schools, there's the concept of afternoon school, which starts, well, in the afternoon.

In Mexico, basic education is normally divided in three steps:primary school (primaria), comprising grades 1-6, junior high school (secundaria), comprising grades 7-9, and high school (preparatoria), comprising grades 10-12.

That is pretty cool I would love to go to school in Mexico.

Reflection - Cybersmart

Today in Cybersmart I will be reflecting on my Cybersmart journey.

Term 1 we worked on...
Being a smart Learner.
being a smart learner involves: Keeping your password to yourself and yourself only apart from your parents and caregiver,
keeping personal info to yourself,
And making sure that only your parents , caregiver and yourself know you password.

Term 2 we worked on...
Smart Footprint.
A Smart Footprint is a digital Footprint is something that will always stay online so what ever you put on the internet will stay on the internet.

Term 3 we worked on...
Smart Relationships.
A Smart Relationship is making sure that your sharing the right information online to online friends that you haven't met before because you don't know who is on the other side of the screen.

Term 4 we worked on... 
Smart User.
A smart User is a person that knows how to use their devices to learn , Create and share.

My favourite thing about Cybersmart was that I was able to work in a group with friends and talk about what we learnt and what we were learning.

What I didn't enjoy about Cybersmart was that we didn't have enough time to make a quality blog post with
enough information because we only got a few minutes to create it and publish it.

What my Cybersmart teacher did well was that she was amazing at teaching us all about cybersmart and that we have to stay safe online.

what I think she could do better at is give us enough time to make a blog post but other than that she was amazing.

SLJ Cybersmart - Research About Mexico

Today for cybersmart we are finding facts about a country. The country I chose is Mexico.

The name of the capital city is: Mexico City

What is the population in Mexico city: 129.2 million

What is the weather in the capital city of mexico usually: 25 °c (77 °F).

Where is Mexico's main city located in: South - Central Mexico

what is the common language in mexico's main city spoken: Spanish.

My favourite facts about Mexico  are what they mostly speak and and where it is located.

I would love to go to Mexico when I'm older or even with my family because Mexico sounds like a cool place to go on a holiday.

 

Our Search Question

For Cybersmart today we had to solve a question. this is the question we had to solve (This Invention was initially created as a walking machine and then was tweaked in 1932 to become amphibious.  But neither of these are it's main purpose now.  What is the invention.)I had lots of fun trying to figure out what the answer was so I searched this up (what was the name of walking machine that was created in 1932.) This is what it came up with.

The Answer that I got was the Mechanical EL the Mechanical Elephant.
Some people say it's a type of car maybe it is maybe it isn't.
I think it's a type of car because it says in a article that it has tyres like cars and you control it like a car too so maybe it is a type of car but shaped as an elephant.
It can go in water and land.
I don't know if it is the right answer but if you are interested you could have a go at it I bet it will be fun.
My buddy was Tahnesha and I think we work really good together.

Search Result

When you search up something google searches every word you put in and sometimes it comes up with something you aren't looking for but it also will come up with something you are looking for.

When you search something it will do this.

When this happens it will show you photos of seals or as you can see on the top it has Seal (musician) Wikipedia, these are completely different things so what you do is search up animal seal that will come up with something you want.

When you search up people like Drake or Cardi B it will do this on the right side of your screen these are the natural results about what you have searched. The natural results meaning is that when ever someone searches for example Cardi B this will always be what comes up because it is what google thinks links to what you have searched. 

You can also click on these for videos of people and animals or even images of people and animals these are the filters and also the search bar.

When you click on one of the filters it will take you somewhere else and it can also give you facts.

Comment Challenge

Today in Cybersmart we were telling you about what to do to make a comment and change your URL/name for your comment. It was really fun. at first I didn't know what to do but I got there in the end.

when were blogs invented?
blogs were invented in 1994 in the early years. the man who created blogs was Justin Hall. It wasn't until 1997 that the term "weblog" was coined.

what to post and what not to post/cybersmart

This term in Cybersmart my class and I have been paired up with a partner and my partner was Anneleise.
We both had so much fun doing this and hope that you like it.
I was the one who did all the animations and made the slide show existing and she was the one putting information into it.
We both put the same amount of effort into it so we hope you enjoy.

Cyber Smart DLO

on Thursday my class went to the high school and we got tort  that if someone online is being mean and is saying bad stuff about you then screenshot it and then send it to your parents personal account.

I also learnt that you don't make a sine with a picture of you on it with all your personal information like your phone numer,your name,your last name or parents information eather.
