Canterbury Swim School Leasons

Today our school finally started Canterbury Swim School and it was so fun. My instructors name was called Matthew and he taught me how to do freestyle and back stroke. I have been going to Canterbury Swim School for 6 years with my school and those years have been so fun. we will be going to Canterbury Swim School for 2 weeks and on the last day of it we will be swimming in normal clothes which is pretty hard for me because you have all this wait on you that you have to carry. The reason we do that is because were practising just in case there is a flood or something we need to be able to swim out and be able to carry yourself to get some air.

Matthew is my favourite instructor at Canterbury Swim School because he is always making jokes about swimming and he is always making me laugh. My favourite thing about swimming at Canterbury Swim School is that we get to do tumble turns , dolphin dives , back stroke and my favourite freestyle.

Partly Cloudy

It was a beautiful day in the stunning sky with all the pink and fluffy clouds.All the storks were out delivering special things to people. Apart from me the one and only grey cloud everyone was scared of BUT one stork came over to me and I pulled him over to me and rubbed his head. Once I let go of him he asked me for something so I gave him my creation and he GASPED with expiration and the crocodile SNAPPED at his face and the bird yelled as it’s head was in the crocodile. I pulled the crocodile off his head and put it in a sheet so I gave it to the bird then he flew off. As soon as he came back some of his feathers came off when he landed on the cloud I had my shape all ready and then I made it come to life but it ran   straight to the bird and hit him in the gut and I could feel the pain he was going through after that big hit. I was a goat I love goats but they are very dangerous I said in my head. I put the goat in another sheet and gave it to the bird and he flew away again. He came back and I made another shape and I was a hedgehog. He held the top of the animal and screamed out loud then I took it away from him a put it in a sheet and it’s pricks came pointing out of the sheet. Then he flew away AGAIN. When he came back he had some pricks in his head and I laughed and then pulled them out  and then he looked at the other cloud and thought “what if i was that bird”. He flew to the other cloud and asked for something and the cloud gave it to him. Then I turned the other way and started to cry. Then he came back with some gear and then he put it on and asked me for something and I gave it to him and it was an electric eel. Then I gave it to him and he got electrocuted and then I gave him a big hug and we lived happily ever after.

How To Be Safe Online

W.A.L.T: be safe online and how to be kind online too.
I am trying to help other people stop cyber bullying can you be part of my team to help other people stop bullying online?

1. Make sure you don't start a flame war.

Question: What is a flame war? Well a flame war is a type of fight but online and you can start to make the other person you are contacting mad or upset and you can really hurt their feelings.

2. don't put your words in capitals letters.

Question: Why can't we put our words in capitals?

Well if you put you're words in capitals letters the other person your contacting might think your yelling at them.

3.Don't call other people names online.

Question: Why can't we call each other names what if were playing a game?

Well maybe your just playing games but if you say something a little to harsh and mean then the could take a fence of what you said and could tell their parents of something and you could get into deep trouble.

there are so much way to cyber bully online and all of them can lead you to a lot of trouble and can course a flame war.

Ocean zones

For Topic this week we were learning about the Ocean Zones and we had to make a google drawing of it and this is my google drawing. I hope you like it this only took me one day and I thought that it was fun. I hope you learnt a lot about the Zones of the Ocean.

Extravaganza post

On August the 30th and 31st my school had a preference at the high school hall. Lyan and I were the speakers for the Extravaganza and we put a lot of effort to make it work and so did our teachers at Hornby Primary School. Lucky for us it was amazing we had lots of people watching the show and that was the best part we made them laugh and smile it was the best night I had. After the last night of the show my sister and I had Mc Donald's for tea and it was delicious. My dad said that he was so proud of us that he wanted me to go on a live show with lots of talking because he thought that I sounded like a woman on News Hub that's what he said and then we went home and then we watched movies and fell asleep in the lounged and then TV was still on.

24 Hour Clock

This week we have been learning about 24 Hour Clock's and how to tell the time on it and this is a demonstration on how to tell the time on a 24 Hour Clock. we have been working on telling the time for the past few weeks and I have managed to get a DLO on my blog.

The incredible Crop Circle

This term my class has been learning about Crop Circles, The Loch Ness Monster, Roswell, Easter Island, The Lost City of Atlantis, The Bermuda Triangle, Big Foot and The Power Of The Pyramids and I have been learning about Crop Circles. This is our Crop Circle creation and in all of the corners there are Facts about Crop Circles.Fact 1.What is a Crop Circle?A Crop Circle is a type of Circle that is formed from UFO's and Human's. Fact 2.Where are Crop Circles mainly found?Crop Circles are found in England , America and Australia. Fact 3.What is a UFO?.A UFO is a type of technology that fly's down to Earth.Fact 4.Humans!Most Crop Circles are made by Human's but they are also made by UFO's.
